The 4-in-1 weave is a European style being the easiest and quickest weave to use. I recommend it to beginners to make your first mail piece. Below is an example of the 4-in-1 weave.

It is simply 4 rings held together by a center ring.

Keep making these "sets" of rings and start connecting them together.

Connect the sets by adding a ring through 2 rings on each set. Chain enough sets together and you create "rows".

Rows can be connected along the sides by following the same pattern, 2 rings from each set connected by 1.

Remember to catch 2 rings from the previous set and 2 rings from the next set when making a connection. I alternated the colors in this image to add contrast and make it easier to see how the rings connect.

By building rows and connecting them together, you will gradually begin building "sheets" of mail.
